Here's the poll for the Photoshop tennis battle.

Entrants may vote, though not for their own piece. If you'd like to post your comments and reasons for voting that would be great, I'm sure all of the participants would appreciate the feedback.

As usual, voting will be open for two weeks, or until one of the entries hits 30 votes.

Maybe we should list of the steps we did to get the end result? List the steps not show them.

North Americans - I gotta represent! :)

All were very good though... that is the toughest battle I have voted in here that's for sure. Great work all of you guys - it was really very close.

Great work all! This will be a close run! :D

I had hard time to decide were my vote would go but it went to brittish punks cause i got stuck with the relation between the black and white city side and the colored nature site. Only thing i would take away is a white cloud thingie(?) in the bottom middle of the pic... Good work with the other clouds at the left side. Love the old man at the window, wihtout him it wouldnt be the same!

To the other entries:

noxious and comicgeek:
love grunge style, fck .. all me is a grunge man in real life ;) nice grunge colors, good grunge texture with little more at one side giving it a more realistic feeling. I missed something tho, like brittish punks had the old man at the window, i would like something that gets my focus and some inspiration somehow (which is more noticeable then the heads at bottom of pic). Great work!

North american connection:
Very good work with the colors! Nice overlayed picture, nice text at both up and down. I see the postcard theme but thats the only thing i kind of disliked. I dunno if its the white border or what but something got me like :hair: ...But thats probably just me! What i liked most in that picture was the colors, very good work!

Anyways, only my opinions,.. hope noone gets offended or something.
Great work everyone!

You see, we went for something a little different to the norm. :) Pushing the artistic boundaries, you know?

The old man is clearly a dude though.

Ack! We should have got a photo of Rasta Man from Hammersmith! (Soul and Asphalt will know who I mean. Especially Asphalt :P )

I voted for the North American Connection - prstudio and sintax :) There seems to be a lot of depth in the animation, and the old picture vaguely seen in the walls is just brilliant! The other entries were good also btw :P

British Punks.

I am a sucker for nature, and the clouds and tree compared to the city scape were a very nice contrast. I did like the old man in the window as well, that was a nice touch.

Others,

NA Connection,
I very much liked the theme you gave to the work. The "old time" overlay on the building, was very nicely done. The text in the lower left corner was a little cluttered for my taste, however, over all very well done indeed.

Noxious & Comicgeek,
Technically wonderfull work, I myself am not into grunge, but your picture showed excellent technical merit. I am thinking that would make a very nice CD cover, for a grunge/punk band.

All in all a great job folks, I am impressed by the creative talent here. =)

Cheers!

WOW 11 votes never imagined we'd be having votes from people... I sometimes think that only Europeans or Americans get this kind of "attention?" :P
