standard buttons VS MC buttons?

I would like to know your opinion concerning the use of standard flash buttons opposed to movie clips with scripts acting like buttons.
I mean what is more easy to animate and access withing an external class?
what is the best choice if I will convert my flash project into a flex project on the future?

personally I prefer using movie clips and animate them through actionscript.. but.. who knows maybe you have other good advices :crazy:

screw standard buttons!!!! you can do so much more with a MC. the only time to ever think about using buttons is if you want to be lazy while making a 508 page.
