You guys gotta see this. So much PK action its ridiculous.

It did seem kind of short, but overall it was well worth it because they packed so much action into the whole thing. Cars are really slick through it, although at one point the way the show off one of the land rovers its way to advertise'ie.

Tech was okay some cool things, but you can feel that the technology was all our time, nothing in it was futuristic (although very spy'esk). Just watch all the things he does with his phone is pretty intense. Gadget wise its very minimal though becuase of the time period its placed in (which I like).

Not a whole lot of James Bond "loving" like in the other movies but a little bit, and the james bond girls are pretty smoking.

The plot is pretty nice and since its so fast paced it doesn't give a whole lot of room to even guess whats going to happen next.

Flaws:
Some guy in the movie knows the bond girls name before he even told the other guy (makes me think the DVD will have a lot of extended little things).

GO SEE IT!

Quantum of Bollocks would be a better description. Sorry to disagree, but this film was sadly disappointing. No gadgets, no girls, no plot... not really sure it passes as a Bond film at all. It was more akin to a thriller such as Born.

My Winge list - let the ranting begin!

1) No explanation re: Vespa from the previous 'Cassino' which is a fundamental crux of the film and why he ends up fighting an entire 'secret organisation' on his own.

2) The MI6 scenes looked timid and puritan (White office film set, boring, gay looking agents mincing around in Top Man suits, i've seen scarier looking mobile phone salesmen. Might have worked with previous Bonds, but the new 'gritty' character leaves them looking limp).

3) The ending had a cut n' shut feel about it... as though they were going to bring it all to a nice explosive head, but thought twice about it, decided to crop out the best bits and drag it all out in the next movie, leaving the audience completely baffled and slightly bored. Lame ending. Complete non-event.

4) No gadgets!!! its a friggin Bond film... What!!!!

5) No real plot. 007 smashes up a few vehicles, wears a bow tie and goes to a fancy euro opera, kills a lot of people and does an amazing amount of product placement for vehicles and thats about it really.

Came away with the feeling that this was a 'filler' until the next one. Shame they forgot the small things, like an engaging plot for example and some less vacuous characters (get a load of the guy with the bowl cut hair style, dorkiest bad guy ive seen in a long time. Laughable).

Stunts were good, acting was good but the plot and overall 'Bondishness' was lame. 007 didn't even get to say THE line... "My name is Bond, James Bond". This was more of a patchwork quilt of action, adverts for cars and disjointed 'quiet bits' concluding in a vague 'out of sync' ending that didn't really go anywhere, explain anything or leave the audience even vaguely curious. Dull.

Wait for the DVD guys... hoping it will have more to offer than the film. If the sequel is as 'empty' as this, the Bond franchise could be in serious trouble. Quality acting and stunts will only carry a film so far.

Well, it looks like almost all bond flicks have been utter ****e, made for the masses and only moderately entertaining to say the least. Thanks pablo this one might actually be worth me seeing, i'll be watching it soon.

Look at it this way they make one of these every 4 years. I'm sure the next one will be good.

There actually was a bit of technology, but the fact that it was all current tech I believe hurt it. It didn't really need explanation, so they simply didn't explain it.

I was very surprised there was nothing impressive about the aston martin.

I loved Casino Royale and I can't wait for this.

I liked it overall but the plot was a lacking. I won't give anything away but the main villan's scheme was lame. They had a good idea with "an organization that MI6, KGB, and CIA know nothing about", but they turn out to be more like petty crooks.

I really like Dan Craig as 007. As I'm sure a lot of people do. He always keeps his cool. When things blow up he acts like it's an annoyance that he has to deal with in order to get the job done.

I definitely liked it, but after Casino Royale, I think I set my hopes too high, so I was a little bit disappointed.
