Hi there, firstly - its a good site, easy to navigate & everything is where you would want it.
I was really keen to see a recent ecom site, since Im currently developing one for a new client. Previosly I have used FexCart (which I helped bug find years ago, purely by chance!) & so was given a developers license as thanks - Ive used it a good few times but it only integrates through PayPal & this new client wants to use WorldPay, so Im back to HMTL. I wondered if in your own experience you knew of a good cart to use? Ive looked at so many Im going round in circles now! (cubecart, flashcart, atinic, romancart...etc).

Thanks in advance, & congrats on the site.

Thank you for your comments.

Well, this site is using Yahoo! Store. Since I wanted to have some nice custom design im trying to do everything from scratch. But yahoo doesnt let me query their product database. so what i have to do is download the CSV file after the products have been added to the Yahoo Catalog. and then have a PHP script load the CSV file into a MySQL database i use to create the pages automatically with PHP.

This is what I recommend you do. Use PayPal. If your client doesnt like it, help him understand that you are the developer here, you are the expert and you know what works.

If you have to LEARN something else, or something that might not even work then its going to be hours of headache for you and you're going to end up undercharging.

Just tell him "I can't do it with WorldPay. I dont offer that service. I can do it with PayPal and ... whatever you have..."

The only thing i dont like with paypal is that doesnt integrate easily with UPS or FEDEX to calculate shipping.

How do you usually do it?

...hey thank you! I usually use my FexCart which is strictly paypal (but I can tailor for a base shipping rate for both within UK & overseas), & had looked at PayPalPro for this client since monthly sales are ITRO £15-18k per month, so PayPal worked out too expensive. Some of my older sites are still out there, www.clementinehomeandgifts.com (no, I didnt choose the domain! lol) & such like, which work well for their clients who have physical stores & so online sales are additional bonus, but with this client Im HTML'ling it & still trying to work out which cart to use - they all look clumsy to me...:(

oh, my own website is www.palegallery.com but it only shows recent projects.
