Coding animations in AS

just to get me started, can this be done in AS.2, and where can you direct me to begin:

1. coding animation in AS.2 is there a easy way for this?
2. how does one name the Document class in Flash MX, in CS3 easy?
3. done my homework on animation in code, think i can manage.
