Hello All,
It's that time of year again. Back to the drawing board for the companies new website. There are still a few tweaks to be made here and there, and the work section will go up next week. I have always gotten some great crits on this site and hope this year will be no different. So if you see something that works/doesn't work, let us know!

Thanks in advance!

hi, really like the idea, maybe not have the main section for the rollover effect, this is quite off putting when you move the mouse off that section, other than that looks great!

Honestly it looks like you took too many ideas and crammed them all in one site ...

Try and keep everything consistent and don't throw in stuff just because you can. Usability is key. (especially dealing with nav ... if the nav is hidden then you've already made me not want to be at your site...)

BoonDock brings up a great point on usability because there really isn't a lot of consistently on your site. All the little elements behave differently witch can kinda confuse the user.

halfdrawn: Thanks for the comment. What do you mean the main section rollover effect? Do you mean the area the shows the updates?

Boondock & ajcates: Thanks for the input. What do you mean by the comment of too many ideas crammed into one site? What all different ideas are you seeing? I wasn't aware that it looked like I was throwing things in there?
As for not having consistent elements on the site. I have an updates section that slides down to show you the content, the menu that slides down to show you the content. The about page is text and a simple scroll bar ad the contact section is just your standard contact form. In your opinion what elements don't look out of place?

As for the nav system. I know where you are coming from on that thought process. And while I agree with you to a degree, some times you have to take a chance and try something different. I took some heat on my 3.0 layout a year ago with the nav system, but I took a chance and it paid off. This time around I made it a little bit more obvious as to where the menu is, by labeling it menu.
There will always be companies out there and need your standard nav system, and I have no problem giving them just that. But this is a creative agency's web site and I feel should reflect that.
I wouldn't say that you 2 are wrong in the way that you are thinking, cause you are not, but I like to think that I got to where I am by not always following the "rules of design"

Thanks for your comments, these were great points to bring up.
Keep'm coming!

What an awesome site. I really like it. Really like it. The only issues I would highlight:

SEO - How can google find you?

Other than that its a really good Flash site. How much would you sell the template for?

All the animation to me seems very jerky and not smooth at all (looks like key frame animation to me) try using a tween class other than the standard tween class and try do it through your code - it seems to bring smoother animations/transitions i feel.

Other than that it's nice.

Also for another major point i must bring up - why go flash when this can clearly be done in html/css/php and you could probably get alot more design into it that way.

What's the need for flash in your opinion?

How much would this cost for someone to do this in aJax html?

The flash weakens in SEO does it not

Sorry, but I left it after 15 seconds. Mousing over it gave me a headache trying to work out the navigation. The large light gutters are also distracting.

Centralise the weight of the content, and work with a cleaner, more obvious navigation that isn't a challenge to use.

The navigation is rather glitchy. Sometimes it doesn't show up or it gets formatted wrong. Hover over it and a bunch and mess around with it and it will glitch.
