ok, i'm sitttin here screwin around with flash, i make this thing, i mess with the publishing settings i make a gif, and i view the gif and it adds like a 256 color format to the photo at the end, any way i was wondering if their is a way to do that with flash so i couyld get it on the swf.

About the color thing, there is a great tutorial on this site, one under the name random colors, the other under the name setRGB. Check them out, they might give you a start.
