Logo try-out

Hi,

A while ago, I thought it was time to get myself a logo. So, I decided to have a helm as logo, because my last name is "De Ridder" (in Dutch), which would be translated to "The Knight" in English. I like the game Diablo II, and then I thought of it that the Barbarian from Diablo II has a really cool helm, so I decided to use that shape. I don't know if this is allowed by Blizzard Entertainment, so I'll contact them soon. But before I do that, I want to get some opinions on how it looks and if you can recognize it.

And I was thinking, it'd be nice to have something like this (http://voetsjoeba.asianillusion.com/logo.html) on the splash page. It's similar too Kajinku's (hope you don't mind kajinku :blush:) What do you think about it ? Oh, the text is just dummy text, don't bother it.

I think the lines need some anti-alias they are not crisp. I kinda recognize what it is I think...A helmet with like feather wings on the side? I think you should make it bigger and fill it in. Provide a bigger version.

It's only a test version, it's not done yet. Yes, it's a helmet with feathers on the sides =) Fill it ? Which color do you suggest ? i'm gonna make the bigger version now.

I made yet another one :) Again, as all the others, this is a very low detail version. I personally like this one the most.

joeba try doing a search on google for hawkman so you can use his helmas a reference maybe his wings i like the first 1 a bit its just not too sharp enough and it needs more details

Hey, thanks for the info grim :) The first one: It's only the outline, it's needs a lot more detail. About the sharpness: the original image was very small, that's why it's hard to get the lines sharp. But, I'll try :) So, everyone, which one do you consider best ? 1, 2 or 3 ?

I did, I found this site (http://www.mwart.com/store.asp?page=2&cat=32). The first of the second row is the one Pixelranger (http://www.pixelranger.com) got his logo from (I think).

So .. shall it be three ?
