Diffrent Kind of Site check

Check out this site I did not make..

Okay, we can all agree its pretty horrble. Now, I might be hired to redesign this site, now I got a few questions and I need a experienced answer.

Considoring the client dosent care...
Would you do it in Flash or HTML, or both..

So far I this is what I got:
- for flash
This is a Wrestling site, so its all about show, here flash would be best.
it can be more interactive
As long as Flash is on the pc, its completle compatible
More fun and easier to work with!

-for HTML (DW)
Easier to handle larger Content (quite important)
Smaller loading times (usualy)
Can still look good.. just diffrent

So, how would you guys do it?

Yuk - what a horrid site!

Pretty much agree with your summary - does the client want to update the site themselves? In which case HTML would most likely win.

Perhaps you could consider a mix - ie navigation/effects driven by Flash and HTML areas that are readily updated by client?

Either way, you'll give them a great site I'm sure :)

You can let your client update a flash site using external text and loading external images.
