So someone chooses a place in the world.

Now the rest of us guess where they are by only asking yes no questions...

For example. I would have selected New York.

The New York questioner would now choose a place...

You can choose places like cities, but try and stick to places people might actually know. we have an international community so keep that in mind.

There's the hint about the colonies too.. and all I can think of is the US cuz of the colonies, but we aren't inhabitants of a European country.
