I think the most romantic song is "My heart will go on" By Celene Dion from the movie Titanic.
Its lyrics are so touching that some times even i started weeping while listening to it.
Its the most touching song i've ever heard.

My favourite lyrics probably come from a late 80's/90's New Zealand band called "The Headless Chickens" (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=163798943) - They range from riveting and morbid through to pop.
