Tree "Fractal" with sound

the title says it all.
A little flash exepriment (http://www.signalsondisplay.com/blog/?p=16).

I was trying to create a tree fractal, I obviously messed up somewhere, but it turned out pretty interesting anyway.

The first link all I received was the music playing but no visual effect. Just a black box.

And the second was looked pretty :P

sometines if you have music playing in flash in another browser tab Flash throws an error, or maybe you dont have the latest flash player installed ?

well its messed up because i was trying to do this (http://www.signalsondisplay.com/blog/?p=18), and it didnt work out. In the end though, I was pretty happy with the result. Happy accident so to speak.

i think the older on looks a little better.

It was the randomly generating tree that made the older one so cool. The new one looks great too, but would be ****ing incredible if you get it randomly generating at the same time. Also the music on the older one was much more awesome. Still a great experiment though. Keep em coming dom_. :)

i've been looking through the papervision classes to see if i could "draw" the branches in like the 2d one, of even fade them in and out.

I have no idea how papervision 3d works, so can't help you there! Coming from a background in Maya you'd think 3D in flash would interest me, but i just can't get excited about it beyond thinking "ooh that's cool!".
