I have recently created an actual site for myself for the first time in years in order to host any experiments i do, and here is the first one. An experiment using the compute spectrum function to create useless but pretty graphics using the lovely bitmap filters! (click in the top half of the flash to switch between the two modes)
http://www.walkingbaby.co.uk/sound1.html
The source code is there to download. If anyone has any comments or crits on the code i would love to hear them. Hopefully there will be more experiments to come. I have a couple lined up but doing html bores the hell out of me so it may take me some time to actually get them online!
Let me know what you think.

I also did not see any Flash on the page, even when viewing the contents/files/cache once the page loaded. Do you have a preloader or is the SWF huge? It did eventually load for me after some time, but initially there was no Flash/SWF present and like Dark Viper I wondered the same for a while. You may wish to look into that.
But nice effect once loaded.

The swf is 5kb ... I guess maybe it's an issue with swfobject 2.0. I know i had a little trouble setting it up initially. Thanks for the heads up. What browser were you using?
Glad you liked the effect too :)

Yeah pehaps it is a SO2 issue? Firefox, etc.. For some reason there seems to be a delay especially if the SWF is only 5k very strange. Does the audio stream, or load completely before the effect starts, maybe that could be part of it also also.

Works great in Safari 3 (mac os 10.5.4). Looks great, too.

The audio streams, then starts playing when you click the text. The weird thing is that the header is being loaded in the same way using s02 ... does that have a delay?
Thanks jimhere :)

I'm using FF3 and that blut bar which contains the SWF isn't visible at all. On IE it seems to play fine.
