Theron: Demonic Darklord (low poly)

New concept for a competition I'm working on. I've modelling about 30% of this guy so far, but I'm taking my time with this one. I totally rushed that polar bear one last time.
Anyway, here is the concept art. The topic is Fantasy/medievil demonic darklord and we've got a budget of 3500 polys and 1 512x512 texture map. Should be interesting...

I have seen that head on a comic book character b4.....just an FYI.....not sure if it effects your competition. However I cannot remember where I saw it and what comic....But I know I have. But it is a very good drawing and I know you did not copy it from anywhere. Just a freak likeness

Alot of my influence comes indirectly from comic books, hence the style of concept art. He's basically a skull with spawn-esk eyes and a mummy-esk mouth... which character are you referring to?

still cannot place it is just the head that is jumping at me. The rest I have seen nowhere. But since I cannot remember that means it is meaningless......Kick *** drawing and I knwo the model is going to be off the hook.....gj

I've blocked in the basic shape and just starting to add detail and a bit of smoothing. Currently at 2500 polys so I've got room for detail. Tell me what you think so far?

Wow, looks very plastic (maybe cause no textures :)). I think the fingers on the right hand (especially the thumb) are a bit too long compared to its wrist.... And um, the thing covering his nuts should have a cooler shape ;) But looks good :)

Btw, the sketch drawn was using hand right? not computer !?!?
