I figured at one point or another we're going to want to critique a smiley or two.
I'll go ahead and star off...

For the flag ones, might be a good idea to make the smilie reflect the location a little bit.

I like the sombrero, yoda, dm's bear and insomiac. There were some other good ones too. I'm gonna try to make a couple more.

Yeah, I can't really think of anything other than character smilies. Those are fun to do though, so I'll leave the other smilies to more creative minded people.

Yeah, I'd like to do that. I tried to do it earlier but I ran out of lunch time though and had to go back to work. I'll probably try again tonight. Mr. T definitely needs some gold chains!

Ok I added some details to Master Chiefs helmet as well as the lights.

Tried to make the heart stand out more, but still keep the dullness of the shade from the game.

The first one is pretty simple, and the last was difficult for me to make.
These are my first smilies ever.. so no previous experience.

First smilie, the mouth feels offset (make it wider by 1px to the right.

Second one, I think the icepack left side goes up too high making it look more hat like. The thermometer needs to be modified a little bit.

Other than that nice work.

Hey Temp, I saw your heart ones.. I like them, but I was thinking maybe darker red..

Also, on the note of traditional smilies, you could try something like.. one happy with a heart to the top left/right of it... and the other angry or looking disappointed with a broken heart to the top left/right of it... I dunno, just a thought :sure:

I can easily tell hes ripping it in half.

See if you can make a soviet Russian smilie... I can't think what it would look like though, would be very useful for when ever someone says "In soviet russia blahs you"

The original Star Wars trilogy were my favorite movies as a kid. I still really enjoy watching them now.
