Photoshop type tool drama

When I type with the text tool I have to click the arrow tool to disable. Anyone know a hotkey or a workaround? :m:

You can use either CTRL + Enter (PC - dunno about Mac) to confirm your text or use Esc to cancel it.

or on a PC you can also use the "enter" key in the numpad area (does mac have one of these too?) and you don't need to use control with that.
I like that one, because it is on the way for my hand as i move it back to the mouse, so i can just hit it as i go :)
