yeah the golf is sweet though! one of my teachers used to have one. coolest car (after the mini ;)) in the parking lot. i wouldnt mind the ML55 or the RX 330 :P my mom has the RX 300 and i want the 330 or the GX.

Yup, I love fast, sexy cars. I've always liked the rally kind too, which is why the Evo is in there and the Scoob almost made it. :) The Ferrari is pretty self explanatory I think, and the Aston is just the quintessential English classy car. And soooo beautiful. :)

418km/h is approximately 259.8 mph. Obviously AutoWeek and most people's criteria state that it must be a sustained average on a test-track, but I have a feeling that with specs like that the sustained average will be higher than 241.

Either way the McLaren F1 is not the fastest production car :b

1. '73 Gremlin X, rebuilt v8 304 stock motor, with some nice additions (redone fibreglass interior with pumpin sound, turbo, exhaust, etc... esentially the only thing gremlin would be the body and rebuilt motor)

2. Old school cutlass or caddy pimped to the teeth (hydros, chrome, sound, etc.)... model and year arent' huge issues here, as long as it looks sweet.

3. toss up between a supercar (Porsche Carerra GT is kinda nice...) or taking my cavalier and keeping the body looking stock, dropping about $100 000 or more into it to make it absolutely destroy anything out there. maaan how sweet it would be to pull up in a '93 cavalier, play a fool and act all dumb (with like cheap rims and a rusting body) then watch the ricer crap his pants when i rev up and release...

Bugatti Veyron is not the fastest production car - it is not in production yet. ;)

Phat7: as far as production, the McLaren F1 was built by hand, that's hardly mass-produced. The Veyron is going into series production like most super expensive supercars. It's still considered production. For example, if you had 1M dollars, you could probably buy one after the supposed 1 year waiting list was up ; )
