OK, I've been trying to find a copy of the FF7 music on CD for years, since Square never saw fit to release any of the merchandise in Europe... Finally I track down a copy on Amazon's Marketplace (overpriced, but I'm willing to pay through the nose for this one), only to find that because I'm in England, the seller won't let me buy it.
Infuriating. :a:
I've been able to buy the CDs from 8,9 and 10, but the one that I really really want, I can't get!
Has anyone actually got this CD? Is it any good? Am I wasting my time? :sure:
And more to the point, does anyone know of a way I can get my mitts on it? :)

Again, pretty much everything Final Fantasy related on eBay is American... You can get the games and the manuals over here, but none of the promotional material ever got released. :(
I'm listening to FF music now - FFX to be exact. :) God, Nobou Uematsu writes some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard...

Cool... I just love the music to VII. :)
And Tidus & Yuna's theme from X is lovely... Especially when you know what happens to them in the end...

Kit, you should definitely find the orchestral version of the Main Theme from FFVII. It's really really good. :thumb:
*starts playing it on iPod*

you should try yoko kanno. She does music for manga. I almost never watch japanese cartoons outside of dragonball z, but somehow I got hooked on escaflowne (I'm not sure if you've heard of it, but it's incredibly fruity). She's also done music for cowboy bebop.
If you can't find some of her stuff online, I'll set up something in my server, if you're interested.

Yasunori Mitsuda, another favorite of mine. He did the music for Chrono Cross, and I think Xenogears. The music straight from the game (CC) is absolutely beautiful in itself. He also does guitar in some of his songs which is another reason why I like this guy's music :thumb:

Got Xenogears too, had to chip one of my PS1's to play it though, since again it was never released over here...
OK, I'll try some of these other websites, see if I can find anything. :) Thanks guys. :)

I could buy it and ship it to you... Anyhow, I have the Four disc set at home, and the FF live in concert where you can hear the orchestral version of a lot of the FF music. That is an amazing two disc set. I have the FFX sound track in the car now.
Thor I have the CC Soundtracks as well they are pretty good stuff. The Xenosaga sound track is also worth listening to. =) It is done by Yasunori Mitsuda as well. :)
Cheers!
