I'm 1988 ;) What do you mean, a computer guy ? You've got all sorts of computer guys. Like ... hardware'rs, fixers, gamers, software'rs, ...

Writing books or making huge sites with lots of tutorials and a big forum helps. But if you can't do that.....

Just learn the programs you want to use, then make a website that uses these. Then just try to find people who need websites to be built, contact them and give them your portfolio, and hopefully they'll pay you to make their site.

Guys, learn photoshop, flash and dreamweaver for a start, make few demo websites to show other guys, u can start by milking :P ur relatives, family friends and ur friends parents who has a business or interest in making a homepage or something...i started like that and i was'nt really concerned about the money at start as u ll never be a price giver that urly, ok? Dont say no to any project, do anything and everything (wich ofcoz is in ur limits)i have made few mistakes like promising someone a flash 3d site and at that time i was not even good at photoshop and see that u dont over do the buggin ok? ppl ll start avoiding u if u over do it.
