Anything that starts with "Communi-" usually doesn't end up well for me.
I like the torn paper, I'd pick three colors that I really like and stick with them, namely on the bottom piece. Maybe find a nice halftone of that blue to replace the olive green.

Good idea. I thought they were off a little. (Trying to stick to ugly palettes they give me)
Bugs:
Video overlaps the footer in IE @ 800x600 (applied temp fix that adds a lot of negative space in FF).
Background cuts off with zooms/lower res's..

For it to be a site about Communication etc. - I don't quite get the use of the torn paper ... ?
Also why the huge header? It's almost a waste of space just to justify the lack of content from the rest of the site...
The build itself is fine - structure and ease of use are there ... just the design confuses me I guess...

For it to be a site about Communication etc. - I don't quite get the use of the torn paper ... ?They wanted it to look that way to integrate with the new site's look. This was my 2 day stab at something (http://clients.global-image.com/kctcs/homeAshland.asp) it took months (and a lot of money) for a big corporation (http://www.global-image.com/) to make.
Also why the huge header? It's almost a waste of space just to justify the lack of content from the rest of the site...It is.
The build itself is fine - structure and ease of use are there ... just the design confuses me I guess...Thanks? :proud:
Edit: Okay, the site has been modified with color changes (Dan), added some more texture (me), and fixed bugs.
Have at 'er. ;)
