hi, i am really into photoshop rigth know because it combines perfectly with flash. so i am trying various experiments combining things, ligths , brigthness, etc. but they don't look like i want them to look

so can someone direct me to some tutorials on how to make lightning , particle blast similar to electrongeek work ( not the 3d work just the photoshop)

Just a side note.. Photoshop does NOT work perfectly with Flash,
works great! but not perfect.
Fireworks works perfect with flash!

Did you look at the sticky thread for a tutorial like that?

Play around with different blending modes, color dodge in particular for those overly bright lighting effects.
Duplicate a layer maybe 2 or 3 times, apply the color dodge blending mode for each and you'll see a big difference:)
