Which do you prefer to run your php sites on? A windows machine or linux machine?

linux is just simply better in every way x)

A free OS that, when properly administered, never crashes and is very secure vs. ... well... a Microsoft product... It's a no-brainer to me. However, if you know how to Administer Windows Server, you can make good money... so there's that side of the coin as well.

If you're like me (not a huge gamer) you may want to try linux on your desktop as well. I personally like SuSe... but it seems like Ubuntu is the most popular right now.

Ubuntu takes only a few commands to set up. Windows is also very easy to set up (wamp ect...).

I personally use Ubuntu because it takes very little resources.
