Flash - issue?

Hello everyone once again!

Boon here with a computer/flash question/problem...?

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64 with 4 gigs of RAM and a 500 Gig Hard Drive with a 8800 NVidia card ... (for the major specs to cover etc.)

(oh and with a AMD processor)

Anyways, I'm having a large issue with Flash that is becoming more and more annoying.

Everytime I try and do anything with a text box in flash ... it seems to kill my PC and it really starts to lag when I try and move the cursor through the timeline on the main movie etc. (just to do a sample test of an animation etc.) ... any ideas as to why this is happening?

Do you have Flash Player 10 Beta installed (if so make sure you have the 2nd beta).

Not sure ... but I don't see how the player could cause this ... since I'm not testing it in the player ... but just on stage by moving the head across the timeline etc. (does that make sense?)

Oh sorry I misunderstood you. I didn't realize you were were talking about Flash CS3.

So no ideas as to why it seems like whenever I'm working with text in flash - it seems to really lag up the Flash workspace?
