Easing with flash scrollpane component?

If I wanted easing, usually I would create my own scroll pane/bar class but I'm using the astra tree component, which uses the flash scroll pane, and as far as I can tell I can't use another scroll pane class instead, so my question is: how to implement easing in the flash cs3 scroll pane component?
