Displaying Videos with xml

I want to know how to use xml to link series of videos to play in the same window .
I am new to computer and do not know the coding I request to please advise/guide/help me with the code to display,my own videos offline on my
computer. I am not interested displaying on server/ by php code.

What video format do you need to play (*.flv *.avi *.mov *.wmv)?

I can tell you don't speak English that well. There might be a way to do this for Windows Media Player (which can be embedded into a browser)
