Backspace Delete does not work in FF3

I just installed FireFox 3 and was typing away in this forum and found that my backspace and delete key did not work in the Rich Text Box. I tried to type a whole post without making any typo mistakes. But found that I make too much mistakes and had to switch to IE7. When I used IE7, it works fine.

Has anybody seen this?

Go to user preferences.

"edit options"

scroll all the way to the bottom and change "full wysiwyg controls" to the "extra formatting" one (the one in the middle)

A bug with that editor and FF3. The extra formatting one is almost as good.
