Hey Everybody

I realized something. I sometimes browse on CGtalk.com and it looks like they use a similar (if not the same) board system (or whatever it is called).
There is one small thing that I miss on kirupa (which they have on CGtalk.com) which I don't think would be too hard to implement. I usually browse through the forums using the "Previous Thread" and "Next Thread" links, but if the thread is longer it's kind of annoying to scroll down, just to click on one of those links.

In my opinion it could be in the same line like the "post reply" button over the first post.

If nobody else thinks that is needed its ok. Just thought it might be nice to have.

my :2c:

so, i guess nobody thinks that this would be nice to have?

Or is it too hard to implement?

definitely not a must have, but thought I bump it once, and after that I leave it.

cheers Carlo

Search results are cached and disappear after a few minutes, so linking to a searchid won't work :)

Hmm...ok...i guess that means it has been suggested already and not approved.

Good to know :)

Cheers

No I just clicked the "New Posts (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew)" button forgot that its just basically a search  Either way if you use that it saves you from looking though all the threads.

The problem with new Posts is, that it shows you all forums (which can be useful too) but i use it to browse a specific forum where i just read the first couple of sentences and then decide if I want to read further. That's why it would have been convenient to have it situated up there instead of scrolling down every thread.

but cheers for the answer
