Random Position

hello - newby here...:rambo:

I'm trying to have multiple mc on a single layer which can - on load, can locate themselves randomly - ala deck of cards. I'll be happy with just random position, but it would be great to have slight rotation/alpha channel/movement, etc... I looked all over the web, but couldn't find anything solid.

Any link or tutorial would be great! Thank you all....

Do you have a code how you "load" the MCs?
It would be easier to answer.
(And some people might have a look at your code and give you tips what you could improve...helps me usually a lot)

Other then that your problem seems pretty straightforward.
In order to answer it would be interesting to know if you use AS2 or AS3.
