SoundSpectrum with mp3 stream

HI there,

I'm trying out this soundspectrum code
but it doesn't seem to work with a streaming mp3 audio

I don't get any errors, it just won't display the spectrum
but when I play the sound spectrum .swf file localy it does work ?!

Any ideas on why this won't work ?

Do you hear audio?
There should be an audio stream running, but the spectrum won't display
Where do you see the red triangle in safari ?

I hear the audio and see a stage-width red rectangle in the lower half of a black stage.
The red rectangle subsequently disappears after a few seconds.
Safari 3.1.1
