Kirupa - The Real Orange Pages

This is my first design for the header contest - it plays off the yellow pages, but in this case orange.

Despite a similarity in looks to the yellow pages header, all elements of the design were either taken from the contest page, or created by me.

Looks pretty nice, although a bit too dark for my taste. And the orange seems blurry/low quality, is that on purpose?

The orange wasn't supposed to be blurry, but I just copied it off the Kirupa homepage. I needed to scale it up, but that obviously loses quality. If that header is chosen for any further development that orange would just be redone at a higher resolution.

you should scale it 2x using the nearest neighbor method, and it will just look like bigger pixels.

I'm not familiar with the "nearest neighbor method"....care to elaborate?
