i want to learn how to do mail forms and message boards with flash but i dont have any place i can test the php... know of any free webhosts i can sign up with (without getting a ton of spam or anything like that)

(sorry i already posted this in the flash mx forum but i figured it would get a better response here seeing that this place deals with php and stuff alot more)

bravenet sucks! I haven't ever used zerocatch though. Why not just get some more practice and install PHP and MySQL on your home computer?

DigitalPimp - why does bravenet suck? I have never used it, or heard anything about it, did you have a bad experience?

Nick - ZeroCatch only offers PHP support with their "Gold" package - at $15/month

I haven't had an experience with Bravenet but I have heard that they suck quite a bit...

ZeroCatch is a rip off. If you are gong to pay 15/month then just go with Ipowerweb.com and its only 6/month and you get a crap load of stuff... the new Cpanel is great too :thumb:

Good lord - I have been looking for a new webhost for a buisness I do some work for, and I had finally decided on ipowerweb, thinking to myself "omg, 6/month and I get ALL THAT STUFF!". You are a freakin mind reader. Tell me a little about this control panel.

they updated it. Great new interface, and its bright and happy and makes me feel good. :) I have yet to have a problem with Ipowerweb and I have used them for about 5 different clients.

do a google search for forserv, it makes php&myql&apache really easy to install - i think my mother could do it! its the easiest way to learn as you don't have ftp etc
