i want to do is connect a table from a DB and show it in a flash site, and i think i need php but i dont know how to. can someone tell me how to do it clearly.

Have you searched? There are many tutorials on this site, on the net and tons of the threads on the forums regarding this matter. Do some homework then come back with a more detailed question.
