Hi,

I'm having some trouble migrating from procedural way of scripting to OOP. (Am comfortable with AS2 and now trying to migrate to AS3.0). Did some tutorials online but I keep finding myself stuck with this question:

"How do I build a basic website using classes?"

Is there any resources or reading materials which can help me to learn how to 'plan and break down' a website into small parts/classes?

it would be a good choice to try out some oops in actionscript 2.0 too before completely coming over to actionscript 3.0 :)

In my opinion AS2 should be avoided if somebody wants to learn AS3

Yeah that's true. And I do have a few 'components' which is written in AS2 which I will like to convert to classes.

why?
Beacuse you'd get used to AS2.0 practices and have problems with AS3. Something like having an accent when speaking foreign language. Don't waste your time with AS2, its thing of the past...
