Lines ?

I was wondering if flash mx can create these lines.

I don't mean drawing them one by one but is it possible in flash mx ?

just crop that image to a small tiling square (2 color gif), import it and use it as a bitmap fill.

you already have the lines :-\ why do you need to make them again?

well, what Id do is take about 3 pixels or so in the form of

[ ][ ][ ]

and have them all start as the background color but make one the ling color

[L][ ][ ]

Then convert those pixels to a texture or pattern - select them then use Edit > Define Pattern...

After defininf the pattern, make a new image, or even use the one you have if its big enough - whip out the fill bucket and use that texture to fill some large shape (probably square or just the whole image itself).

ctrl+T for a transform and rotate it.

i will tell you my way:

Make a 6x6px image transparent bg.

Zoom in to 1600% and make a diagnal line from one corner to the other with the pencil tool at 1px.

Select>All

Edit>Define Pattern

Choose a name, on your new doc choose
Edit>Fill>Pattern and choose your pattern.
