typography work

Hello, long time that I posted here back.

But now I feeled too show something of my new work and i was curious how kirupapeople think about my new picture.

The main reason, I made this picture is to try and experiment with things of typography.
And just to make something else then usual.
So a tribute to typography.
I know it's a kinda simple, but I wanted to keep it simple.

Any comments are welcome.

nice job peewy, simple yet creative.
i like the boxs on the top, how do you do that?

it's quiete easy, I'll give a quick tutorial.
First of all I used photoshop.
Take a new layer, make a selection fill it with black.
Then take filter>render>difference clouds (foreground black, background white)
Then take filter>Lightning effects>parallel directional(or try around)
Then take filter>stylize>extrude and take default settings, press OK, there you have the result.

If you want to go further, i took, Image adjustment desasturate, after that, image > adjust >hue/saturiation put colorize on and take your colour.
Then i double clickled the layer and add a pattern effect, in this case scanlines, put the opacity somewhat lower from your pattern. And you are ready.

yah that is really simple and the background is cool too...but what is it?! just an image? wallpaper?

Euhm, good question, don't know what it is, maybe somekind of flyer, i was just toying arround in photoshop and I made this pic.
I don't think it can be used as wallpaper, because small size 640/480 (it works, I tested it, but still, quality lowers).
Euhm consider it just as an image, I made for fun.

But my main thing, still stays, playing arround with words and put them in a cool order. I wanted to make the slogan come out neat and that it comes out as the most important thing from the picture.

I don't really like the filter effect applied at the top, just too much along with the scan lines.

As for the rest of the layout, what I do like is the typography, but there's an alignment problem with the words.
