Hello, fellow Flash People. I am Student at The Art
Institute in Denver. I am working on Becoming a Flash Developer and Decided to Create a Flash Tutorial web site for a final project. I could really use some reviews.

Very impressive, looks like you spent quite a while on it, not many problems with it.

This should probably be in the critiques thread. ;)
Honest feedback. You have put a lot of work into the site. At first glance it appears blocky, kind of like a programmer would build a site. Add some curves or visual interest elements. Too much gray (grey?). More color or contrast. When I click on a main nav item, AS3 for example, it opens a new window,. That could lose your visitor if they don't want to turn off their popup blocker. Try to use <div>'s instead of tables, you'll be positioned better for future web standards. Your header graphic appears to be timeline tweened. If not give your movie a higher frame rate like 30 or so.
Content is formatted very nicely but different sections need to be thought out on where they would best fit. Your home page has the main content followed by a text messaging, game and YouTube tutorials. The red headline in the middle news section is hard to read. Contact form fields are validated, which is a nice touch for what you receive. Page counter is from the nineties.
These are just one person's opinion and you can take away what you want if any of them. Keep going! Your site is very ambitious and has a lot of potential. :)
