I heard that Trent was in favor of imposing a tax collected by ISPs to compensate for those who download music illegally.
Then he offers his music for free download? It may have just been a rumor.

Either that or downloading music illegally is not the same thing as an artist gifting an album? Hmmm...?
Anyhow, really great album! I was gonna post here, but did a quick search and found this thread.

I haven't heard any tracks yet but I really like NIN. Thanks for sharing.

I think you'll be pleased with it. It's by no means NIN's greatest album to date, but it's good, and definitely worth what you pay for it (+some). :P
Also, if you like NIN, check out Ghosts I-IV (also released this year). It's all instrumental, but if you liked Further Down The Spiral, you'll love this.
Lastly, if you haven't yet, NIN released Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D (Read it carefully :P) toward the end of last year...not too many people seem to know about it, but it's the remixed version of Year Zero, and much better IMO (as good as Year Zero was). It reminds me a lot of "Remixed" (comes with the aMotion DVD) by APC as a follow up to eMotive.
