Thought I might throw this out there for people to have a look at. CellPaint.com (http://www.cellpaint.com) is a flash project I have been working on since late last year. It allows users to come and… well… paint a cell.
At the moment anyone can come and paint a cell without having to register as that is yet to be fully implemented. There is still a lot of work to be done on this and is by no means close to being finished.
Please note that the server this is currently hosted on is a piece of crap so it may be a little slow loading (if it loads at all). I'll hopefully be moving this to a new server shortly.
I'd love to hear people's feedback. More info about this project can be found on my blog (http://www.ahrooga.com/blog). Please come and check it out (http://www.cellpaint.com) and paint something!

Oooo very nice. Like the fact it has layers and you have control over brush size, softness etc. Good job. But what is it used for?

Well it's not really 'used' for anything. Consider it an art piece. I'm thinking of including the ability for users to comment on each others paintings and make things a bit more social. Hopefully this will encourage people to come back.

I found the cursors auto hide glitch if you click while the cursor is showing the arrow.
Uhh works really nice might want to work on the CTRL+Z it doesn't work very good with the layers and glitches. Really nice system though easy to use. Probably better for wacom users.

I found the cursors auto hide glitch if you click while the cursor is showing the arrow. Not quite sure what you mean by this. Can you explain?
Uhh works really nice might want to work on the CTRL+Z it doesn't work very good with the layers and glitches. You're right this isn't working. The undo feature was implemented before the layers so is now incompatible and buggy.

^It actually is really easy to reproduce. Navigate with the arrow to the right then with the browser maximized move the cursor all the way to the left of the screen where the arrow and click twice and a picture will load up even those you were over the arrow and now your mouse is invisible making it hard to close the image (once the image is closed the cursor comes back though).

Thanks for the comments so far. The site has now been moved to a new server so speeds should be better.
I should also note that after I have the registeration/login feature working properly I will be deleting all the cells currently up there. I'm hoping to attract some more serious artists rather than people wanting to paint ten kinds of wang.
Some other features I am planning are:
To have the cell page load in a random position to stop the 'bunching' effect currently happening.
Enable users to leave comments on other users cells.
A star rating for cells.
Counter showing how many times a cell has been viewed.
If anyone has any other bright ideas I'd love to hear them.

^random would be very important for something like this, mostly as some are writing long strings. But it does look kind of cool if people are doing a continous mural.
Also allowing edits (of course it will flatten the old image when it saves but be able to edit it on a new layer would be nice, or save as a layered PNG, but then file size will go up?).

I meant the position of all the cells as a group will be random. Like how you navigate with the mouse, all the cells change position.
Edits could be possible. It's something to think about after all the other key features are in place.
