Hello.

We have been for a long time following the kirupa forum, but never actually posted, so before my post: Hello!! :)

We wanted to share with you guys a component we just developed for called tree3D. It is basically a Tree component for ActionScript 3.0 with a twist. It allows you to easily create a three dimensional interactive tree UI navigation system.

We are not a software development firm, but got such a good feedback from other community members regarding a 3D folder systemwe were developing for a project, that we decided to take it the extra mile and convert it to a AS component so anyone could use it. This way tree3D was born just a few hors ago :)

this is how it looks like:

Please visit http://tree3d.zerofractal.com/ to give it a go.

This is the first time we write a component, so PLEASE give me as much feedback as possible to make it better!!

PD. The navigation system was developed with papervision3D and tweener.

BTW we are totally new to this component business. Any suggestions on how to showcase it? We want to see if its worth developing and commercializing resuable stuff.

Thanks!

wow, that thing sent my computer into a spiraling loop of death. i opened it, clicked on the first folder, then my computer froze, CPUs going to 100%, and forced me to restart.

not sure what happened.

but it does look very neat, good job.
