to www. or not to www. that is the question

Hi peoples!!:P
I have a quick question. when I ftp something on my site the pages are different if i put the www or not. For example. http://www.mywebsite.com, gives me a different page from http://mywebsite.com. I thought it was the same. I tried to change the pages from the www site by changings its name to no www. What is happening? how can I change this?

That's weird. I guess that has something to do with your Domain Registrar (who you bought your domain name from) or your host. You should take this question up with them (domain registrar would be my guess).

This is a DNS issue, whoever is hosting the DNS records for your domain (web host, registrar, or other as the case may be) has something configured wrong.

yea it's real easy to configure your server to read, either http://www.yoursite.com or http://yoursite.com. my guess is that some companys are just too darn lazy
