How can I set the classpath for .as files in flex?

Im using the free flex 3 SDK, with a plain text editor... And I want to be able to import files from my previous libraries.. So how do I set the classpath to those?

I started using Flex 3 IDE (which is/was free for students), and just entered the classpath in the IDE (file > set classpath?).

I still don't know how to do it with just the compiler/SDK.

I use flash develop, free for everyone.
