working with movie files

Hi
i have imported an MOV file into flash but it appears on a single keyframe. im sure i have done it before were the whole movie appears as keyframes throughout so you can minipulate individual frames.
am i going mad or is this possible??

Try importing it to the stage or library instead of using the import video option.
