Ive got some 3d abstract art going on and i just want some suggestions and criticsisments and preferences to make it better here they are,

The lack of shadows unnerves me a bit. It also makes the grey tube things look like they're floating, especially on the bottom picture. Then again, maybe they are floating. Now I've confused myself...

kinda cool, like something you would see in an art musame. i cant see the abstract of it, i lke it. what proggi?

It's a good start, but I agree with pissant, the lack of shadow play makes it too generic. Try throwing in an enviroment and a floor plane to make it more interesting.

a nice metallic texture would also look nice. :)

The first one with the shadow applied to it is an improvement. I'm not too sure about the second one though, the plastic texture is a bit of an overkill.

yeah i like the first one a whole lot more. but the second one looks kind acool....

i think its a nice start

u should add heaps more of those tube things around the sphere :) that would look awsome! :)

the first one with the shadows added looks really good, but i agree with the others that the plastic wrap doesn't help much... and it looks very obvious as a filter
