One of the coolest thing I saw at MIX was a useful example of Silverlight's Deep Zoom technology on Hard Rock's Memorabilia site: http://memorabilia.hardrock.com/ (http://memorabilia.hardrock.com/)
You can see a demo video of this: http://www.visitmix.com/blogs/Joshua/Hard-Rock-Cafe/ (http://www.visitmix.com/blogs/Joshua/Hard-Rock-Cafe/)
(If you want to create your own Deep Zoom content, you can use an app that I and a few others worked on: http://blogs.msdn.com/expression/archive/2008/03/05/download-the-preview-of-the-deep-zoom-composer.aspx (http://blogs.msdn.com/expression/archive/2008/03/05/download-the-preview-of-the-deep-zoom-composer.aspx))
(This uses the same technology found in PhotoSynth (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=264820&highlight=photosynth) that was mentioned in this site before)
