Not true. You can set AIM up so that only people on your buddy list can see you online. Check the privacy section in your options. :)

Well you wouldn't be able to stop it with win 98 or ME, but with XP you just click the top IE thing, go to the bottom and press shift + click, then END TASK and it goes away. Thank gosh i didn't have to shut off my computer cause I'm working on some flash. Then i might've had to kill you with a trout mdipi.
