but soo many things have to happen first....
1, What platform? CS1.5(no extra features)? CS1.6(very helpful friends list!!!)?
2, Someone makes a server? Or do we all just join a fast empty one?
3. TEAMS: I wanna be on CT (=

I say we do CS 1.6 on STEAM because of the friends list feature which will make it totally easy to find each other and to join a single server.

What you need to do is get your hands on a HL or CS full Mod copy (you can get them off the net). Then from there use your blue-shift serial # to install it and your ready to rock and roll! When I say CS-Mod I mean like full mod not the mod for HL. It is sorta confusing... If you need help then IM me @ THEDP927 and I can help you.

you need the update! It updates CS, so you will have a CS1.5 and 1.6, it installs VITAL files liek the files for the Shield, Galil, and Famas (new guns/items)

the only difforence between the versions is
CS1.6 - only a couple MINOR bugs... all MAJOR bugs fixed!
CS1.5 - many bugs, no friends list, no quick servers list, no new guns, no new items, no games list, no systemMoniter system.

the only thing is that StEAM updates witself with like 3 min. updates... which is a GOOD thing

OK I'm in. Except the only way this is gonna work is if someone sets up a dedicated server on one of their machines. Finding people will be way too chaotic and it will never happen. But I'm in for 1.6. And also about the teams, play both, who cares what team you're on? That way both sides get to play both teams.

I have a dedicated server... Warcraft3 mod, chickenmod, adminmod, amxmod, hlbooster, hlgaurd, csgaurd, statsme, cheating-death.... the only problem is... ITS RUNNING ON A 800mhz Celeron processor!!!!!!!! AHHHHH AND PEOPEL SAY THAT THEY CAN'T JOIN because it says SERVER NOT RESPONDING AHHHHH....

I agree! It doesn't actually "suck" but I would rather play cs 1.5 than 1.6 because

The last time my bro installed steam we had an uncountable number if problems with it!
ANd many other things I can't remember now...
Anyways 1-6 is like a demo or beta so me thinks that 1.5 would be much better!

syko, try it again, they just relased two patches that made 1.6 ub3r |33t over 1.5. a lot of the maps (like aztech) are redone. the spawns look diff and some ways are changed. its really a ton better, esp two new guns and a tactiacal shield. that and the only way i can get servers on 1.5 is to add them offa game tiger, which sucks. if you guys want me and mike will take screen caps of the new stuff (or at least i will)

my server is up with clanmod, it won't be able to handle us all, i'm warning, not even people with less than cable

i don't really think score matters.

after all, cs is *supposed* to be a team game and it's not about killing the other team (unless you're on one of those no-skill fy_ maps).

it's about completing a common objective. there are certain tactics that sometimes require sacrificing yourself to distract the other team so the rest of your team can come from behind, for example.

i used to be all about score too, then i started matching with a good team and learned to be more of a team player and place less value in score.

Now this score was back in the day, but it was in the realm of 60 to 10 or around that.

But of course i played like 24/7 and was in a CAL invite clan lol...

ahh the days of when being on a computer usually meant having fun...

I finally got a Counter-Strike server running, it may or may not work... it is running on CS 1.5 since CS 1.6 servers are very hard to keepup and running with fun mods.

IP (changes... i think): I hate to say it, but I don't know.. the one that works for me is: 192.168.0.4 , ill wait until gametiger.com adds it to its database and then ill get the IP from it

try these:
[JAPS] Cheaters ONly
X|treme |H|ackers U|nite

You may not want to download cheats enless you do alot of research first you have to know how to uninstall them or make sure they dont mess up cs before you want to use them...

If you do decide to cheat on cheat-servers, please cheat ONLY on cheat-servers, not non-cheat servers.

I would say cheat servers (even if you have the best private cheats out there) are about 150% harder than a CAL match, people don't believe me when I say this, ut its true.


UPDATE ON THE CS 1.5 SERVER:
I added many AMX plugins like: Chicken (needs improvement), Teleport, Unlimited Money (i set start money to: 999999 :D), roll the dice (new features), and other fun mods/admin abuse mods MUHAHAA (dought i'll use them tho :()

yes mike is right, its is possible for you to be in one or more clans, they are just allies. in other games, such as tribes 2, i am in about 6 clans. the only advantage to the first one is keeping the tag infront of your name.
