CodeBlocks error

I'm on vista with the latest version of codeblocks setup to use the GNU GCC Compiler.
When I press "build and run" I get the error:

"ConsoleApp - Release" uses an invalid compiler. Skipping...


Do I need to download something else? All I have is CodeBlocks and assumed I wouldn't need to download a separate compiler.
