im about to purchase this do you think its a good buy???

i just upgraded the processor to 3.0 so the total is $1500.76, talk about portable power huh??

Hey grim!
It looks great - very good deal! What will you be using the system primarily for? I am not certain, but the graphics card may be slower than normal because it utilizes system ram instead of faster on-videoboard ram.

i just plan to use the appz i mainly use photoshop, flash, dreamweaver fireworks, word etc the only 3d app ill be using is swift 3d so that not a big deal im gonna purchase this so i can have a portable and use for client presentations as well :beam:

im gonna purchase the external battery as well ;) but this is not going to be my working machine, its just a portable that if i ahve to make something quick for a client as a demo lets say a logo or something like that then i can do it and then pass it on to my desktop which is my working machine a 2.4gig wit 1.5 gig o ram :beam: then i will have 3 desktops and 1 desknote and 1 ibook :crazy:

Just seems a bit excessive to me. Why are you going to need 1024 mb of DDR ram and 60 gb to run a logo over to a client? Other than that, nice price for a nice comp.

buy a 17" PowerBook G4 heheh, no joke though, it runs flash just as good as PC's now too
your buy looks good though
