I really wish Capcom would make a new Vs game Id love to see Marvel vs Capcom vs DC vs SNK, if that happens my head will explode from the excitement.

Great trailer, I love the dramatic lilttle zoom-ins on the super moves now. Great way to add to the feeling of it being 3d without actually changing the gameplay.
Ya know grim, there is a buttload of actual gameplay footage of it on gamespot now, most of it is just one character squaring off against a dummy opponent, but you can see all of thier moves in action.
I too am ferociously awaiting this game, but I gotta admit, the more footage of it I see, the more it feels like SF2-part 2 then SF4. I know there have been a few gameplay changes, but it is kinda starting to look like a bit too much of a rehash. I'm sure this will be excellent, there has never been a bad SF game; I'm just starting to worry that this is more of a money grab using the SF2 brand/characters people recognize then a truly "new" game.
At least there are some new characters, but they kinda seem more like KOF type characters to me. I haven't heard any word yet on the "boss" characters from SF2, ya gotta assume they'll be in there somewhere, with the real question being whether or not Akuma will be making an appearance...
GS has said there is even speculation that the old "Sheng Long" joke might actually come true this time. That would be pretty sweet.

Theres a real bad quality video on the net with Sagat and Balrog but yeah the old Bosses are definitely coming back.
It looks like SFII because this game takes place after SFII and before SFIII so its more like SF2.5.
I just hope they use this new type of engine and make a new vs game, they can remake all previous SF games for all I care I would definitely buy them I'm a SF whore so I'll buy any SF game I even bought SF2010 on NES cause I thought it was related to the SF games

Heh, I'm witcha man, I've been obsessed since the very first time I played SF2 in an arcade. I vividly remember the first time I played it to this day. I was 15 and my best friend who was 16 was waiting for me in his car to give me a ride home and ended up getting extremely mad at how long it took me to walk out of the arcade...
I used to play SF1 on occasion, but I honestly never even knew there was uppercuts or hurricane kicks in it when I was playing it. I knew there was fireballs but I could only get them to happen at random by going nuts on the joystick. I remember those sticks not being very responsive. I wonder now if they even have a diagonal switch in there... The arcade I used to play it at even had one of the early models where you had to push harder on the buttons to get the Fierce attacks. It was always breaking...
I bought SF 2010 myself... Then I spent a week trying to pretend that I wasn't pissed that I bought it. Years later when I found out that it never was a SF game it all started to make a lot more sense. Even worse then that I bought a 3do just so I could get SSF2T. (I think I payed $499, which was alot then, I was only about 19) But until the Saturn came out, that was the best console version of SF on the market.
Anyway, now I'm just hoping part 4 actually makes an appearance at an arcade near me, I'm dying to get my hands on the real thing. The console version just won't be the same...

I wish they would use some of those SF1 characters since that game never was as popular as SFII I'd love to use that ninja Geki I mean yeah they still have sagat around and Gen has been in a few alphas but that ninja character was so cool he would trhow ninja stars and dissapear.
I think Vega is his replacement since Vega has a claw resembling the one Geki had too.
I purchased a Saturn the year Street Fighter Vs X-men came out with the 8MB cartridge, the saturn cost me bout 50 bucks and the game since it was imported was bout $110.00 I modded that saturn and man did I not regret buying that game sleepless nights me and my best friend had, then Marvel VS Capcom 2 came out on the beloved DC  (best damn console after SNES damn you Sony :fight:) and we had sleepless days I remember the announcer saying fight 99 every round its funny he couldnt count after 99  I even modified teh game and put in my own sound tracks man I had so much fun with the DC it's not funny.
I miss those days :( I just wish they would make an xbl version of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 with online play I'd pay 50 bucks for it I do not care
