Getting Warmed up - Need advice???

Hi all,
I'm getting back into the swing of things for actionscript coding. I've learn Flash MX with AS1 and now we have AS2 & AS3. What would you advice the 1st step for a excited newbie to dive into. AS3 "Essential ActionScript 3.0" or go back and dust off the old C. Mocck book of "ActionScript for Flash MX"?

Any word from the wise is helpful and much appreciated :)

I bought Visual QuickStart Guide books to refresh me on as, there cheap and a pretty good resource, but Moock is good to.
